Save time programming and provide greater insights to your clients
The problem I had was typing every program up on Google Sheets and printing it off every so often for clients/athletes. The main criticism of any other app I used was the lack of variables I could monitor such as lifestyle habits, load, and analysis to break down and give greater insights to colleagues, clients, managers, and athletes.
The time I spent typing programs, attaching video links, and separately doing the same for nutrition was poor time management. Storage became an issue for my first premises because getting folders for everyone’s programs on-site, storing the folders as client load grew was a nuisance due to space. There were often times when clients and athletes would accidentally take programs home so on their next visit we would have to go off memory of previous lifts.
The greatest issue was not putting more time into growing my coaching business, I also couldn’t sell the physical programs I had so they ended up being thrown out.
RYPT is one of the reasons I now have my own gym and witnessed a significant growth in revenue and size allowing me to find a new location and scale-up. It’s allowed me to gain greater credibility with physiotherapists, teams, athletes, and clients through word of mouth. Why? Because I took advantage of using the reports to manage players’/clients’ well-being. As a coach, I have a duty of care and with features like well-being, nutrition, and workout monitoring to provide along with my coaching experience highlight that trait.

What gets measured gets improved. I have crafted this saying into my core philosophy as a coach and RYPT exudes this characteristic. A testament to RYPT is that the guys are a phone call email or text away, something that I have never expected or experienced in my 10 years as a coach. About the coach
Brian Connolly is a Sports Scientist/Strength and Conditioning Coach and owner of Meta Strength and Conditioning. He and his team have a strength and conditioning facility based in Smithfield, Dublin 7 that works with general populations.
Brian also runs a Sports Science Consultancy for teams and athletes which focuses on athletic development for the demands of GAA and other individual and field sports.
Brian received his BSc in Sports Science and Health from Dublin Technological University and then completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Science at UCD where he holds a tutor position for Postgraduate laboratory studies in Lactate Analysis and VO2 Max testing.
He was worked with athletes within Monaghan GAA/LGFA, Dublin GAA, A1 and A2 Paralympic Cyclists, Clontarf Rugby, and many GAA clubs in the Greater Dublin area. Brian currently works with Naomh Olafs and Monaghan United FC.
