TIME USING RYPT

We were looking for a solution that would help us to provide programmes remotely for the athletes we work with outside of their in-person training schedules, such as the Waterford F.C. Academy players and SETU scholarship students.

RYPT has been an extremely efficient way of providing programmes to the large groups of athletes that we work with, while allowing us to monitor the loads our clients and athletes are being exposed to, to help us coach them more effectively. Additionally, it has also provided an additional revenue stream through the sale of remote programmes.

The athletes have found the exercise technique videos very helpful so they know exactly how to execute the exercises they’ve been prescribed. Collecting wellness data through the app has also proved to be very useful in monitoring our athletes and helping us manage their training loads.

Jamie Dalton is the Head of High Performance for the SETU Arena in Waterford and the head of Strength and Conditioning for the Waterford F.C. Academy. He holds a B.Sc in Sports Coaching and Performance from SETU Waterford and is currently completing an M.Sc in Strength & Conditioning at SETU Carlow. The SETU Arena is the biggest sports campus in the south-east of Ireland, working with a variety of athletes from our partners at Waterford GAA, Waterford F.C. and the SETU sports scholarship students. SETU Arena also offers Individual and group performance testing and strength and conditioning training.
